Call for Committee member applications

We are officially announcing open positions in the EuroELSO Steering and the Scientific Committee.

Both committees are highly involved in the annual congress and activities around the EuroELSO. 

EuroELSO Steering Committee

  • Open Positions: 5
    Dedicated to 1 nurse, 2 adult and 2 pediatric care positions
  • Duration: spring 2027 – 2032
  • Open for: perfusionists, nurses, physicians, engineers 
  • Goals: Promoting innovation, improving care, strengthen clinical support, foster collaboration

EuroELSO Scientific Committee

  • Open Positions: 3
    Dedicated to 1 nurse, 2 adult or pediatric care positions
  • Duration: spring 2027 – 2031
  • Open for: perfusionists, nurses, physicians, engineers
  • Tasks: advising the Steering Committee, preparation of the scientific programme for the Congress

You are interested in becoming a part of the committees? Submit your application until 15 September 2026! 

All application must include: 

  • a personal letter of interest
  • a brief proposal including their main actions with ECMO, scientific interests and achievements
  • a list of potential conflicts of interest
  • a short CV focusing on ECLS/ECMO activities
  • a confirmation to be able to join regular video calls and two onsite meetings a year

Candidates are required to be either an individual member of the ELSO or a member of an ELSO Center within Europe or Israel.
